Autocracy follows Corruption

Many people argue one should vote Clinton to avoid voting for a potential autocrat.

I’ve noted that in many other countries and throughout history, often the appeal of the strongman or autocrat is their promise to ‘clean house’, reduce corruption, reduce the ‘raw deal’.

If it weren’t for politicians¬†like Hillary Clinton, who can’t seem to keep her name or her party out of scandal for a few weeks, would Trump have such appeal?

Or, more directly – is a vote for a corrupt Clinton simply delaying the inevitable election of an autocrat like Trump? I am intentional about my word ‘corrupt’ here – I’ve seen few larger miracles, but her campaign could still somehow turn around and she could shed the scandal that surrounds her at this point.
